In 1988 at the age of 18 skateboarder Trevor Alguire opened On Deck Skateboard shop’s doors. On Deck began with the philosophy that skateboarding in it’s purest form is about self expression and the challenge of bettering one’s self through daily progression.

For over twenty years when you visit On Deck it is still easy to see how the business was built on a strong foundation of passion and love of the art form. We enjoy all that skateboarding has to offer on a daily basis and we like to see the enthusiasm skateboarding brings to individuals and family’s alike.

Popularity fluctuates, trends and people change, but at On Deck we believe that skateboarding will remain.

At On Deck we always maintain a huge selection of unique product you won’t find at other so called ‘skate shops’. Whether you’re looking for shoes, clothes, hats, outerwear or of course skateboards, you will find it in our shop!

We take pride in the fact that we’re home to the only indoor facility in Ottawa designed specifically for skateboarding that has stood the test of time. Come skate our mini-ramp. Helmets are required! For those under 18 years of age, a parent / guardian must be present the first time you skate here!

Over the past 20+ years, On Deck has continually supported local skateboarders. That is why we here at On Deck are very proud of our Skate Team––some of the best skaters in Eastern Ontario.
